Finally getting around to writing in this thing after about two months. Since I've sort of dropped off the radar for 2 months, here is my life in a nutshell:
1. I am back in school, facing my senior year. I am taking 2 400 level classes, one 500 level class, and physics. I am also involved in Junior Fellows, a scholership program for researching undergraduates. I have recently found out that amazingly enough I will actually be escaping the miasma that is UMASS at the end of next semester with both of my degrees in bio and animal science.
2. I have decided that since I have no idea where I want to go for grad school or more importantly, what I want to research, I will be taking a year or two off to work. With the skills and resume I have now, I'll easily get a job as a lab tech, either in the industry or at another university or research center, which will allow me to have an increased exposure to different lab enviroments and to decide what sort of biomedical research I want to study in grad school.
3. Sordidsky continues to amaze me with his ability to put up with me, and we are coming up on seven months now. We are planning to move in together once I graduate, either down in Springfield, or perhaps Boston, depending on where we can each find jobs. (Biomedical research is unfortunatly not one of Western MA's or CT's industries) I lack the words to describe what these seven months have been for me, but know that I have never had anything like it before.
Anyway, need to run now and be a lab rat
